About

This book club was founded with a specific premise in mind. Mainly, that by reading challenging literature from a broad scope of genres and coming together to analyze and critically evaluate those works, we will acquire a deeper and more technical understanding of the craft of writing. Many of us are writers and all of us have a keen interest in the art as a whole. In our meetings we seek to analyze discussion points such as the overall structure of a novel or the author’s use of presentation or writing style and tone – to name a few. Please take a look at our past book club selections or upcoming book club selections to get an idea of the types of literature we are interested in. We are always open to new and interesting suggestions and perspectives, both in the discussion of and in the picking of the books we read.
